Napier Municipal Theatre is the entertainment hub of Hawke’s Bay with concerts, shows, and events, and it combines elegant art deco style with modern theatre facilities, making it one of the best provincial performing arts centers in New Zealand. Also, the stage has been graced with international acts and local performers alike.

They are looking for a Venues Assistant to clean the Theatre for upcoming events.

Responsibilities

You will present the theatre, auditorium, dressing rooms, and foyers. This involves cleaning and setting up all rooms to meet the customer’s needs. In addition, you will ensure all furniture and equipment are cared for and stored correctly and that cleaning supplies are maintained at appropriate levels.

Also, you will play a key role in ensuring you meet the client’s needs and they all have an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

• An understanding of the events industry and a willingness to learn
• The flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and additional hours in line with our events
• The ability to undertake manual/physical work
