Fonterra is constantly looking for processing and packing operators to join our production teams in New Zealand. Requirements

You’ll be working in a control room or on the factory floor as a Process or Packing Operator, and your main tasks will be:

• Setting up, checking, and running automated production machinery
• Performing quality checks to ensure production meets world-class standards
• Running machine diagnostics and problem-solving
• Providing documentation is correct and complete

Your great mechanical aptitude, planning, and problem-solving abilities will ensure that everything runs well; you won’t simply find the problem, but you’ll also be a part of creating and implementing the solution.

Furthermore, you’ll be physically fit and able to demonstrate the following skills, in addition to a strong work ethic and a strong focus on health and safety:

• Participating and contributing to a high-performing team
• Operating touch screen machinery 
• Food manufacturing experience is desirable 
• Operating a Forklift with a current F and OSH would be helpful but not essential

Also, you will need to supply proof of your eligibility to work in New Zealand. Documents you can use are:

• NZ passport OR
• NZ birth certificate AND valid photo ID (AND proof of name change if applicable, e.g., Marriage Certificate) OR
• Foreign passport with a valid visa
