DHILLON TRANSPORT LIMITED seeks a Class 5 Driver to join their team. As a Class 5 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods from one place to another, ensuring timely and safe delivery.

Salary: $30- $32 per hour
Responsibilities
- Delivering a wide variety of Goods and Cargo to different routes and various regions.
- Follow routes and schedule.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
- Maintain clear records of deliveries made.
- Complete log books on time and reports accurately and in a timely, clear manner.
- Follow Health and Safety regulations and safety standards.
- Handing job sheets in a timely, professional manner.
- Maneuvering vehicles into the correct position for loading and unloading.
- Observing safety requirements when loading and unloading trucks.
- Regular quality checks are carried out correctly to ensure the trucks can be driven and used safely.
- Estimating weights to comply with load limitations and ensuring safe distribution of weight.
- Ensuring goods are stowed and securely covered to prevent loss and damage of items.
- Reporting to the Manager/Director.
- Ensure the vehicle’s Road User Charges (RUC), Registration, and COF are current.
- Must be physically fit for manual handling of deliveries.
- You must ensure you load the truck appropriately at all times and you record correctly.
- Ensure all loads always comply with height, weight, and specification.
- Must Pass Drug Test and random drug testing when required.
- Must not have any prior driving convictions.
- No criminal record.
- Must hold a Valid New Zealand or International License Equivalent to Class 5 of New Zealand Truck Driving License.
