By overseeing I&D learning and education activities, including the creation of intricate new curricula, programs, and procedures to suit the demands of Starbucks’ international company, this position helps Starbucks succeed. This position creates, directs, oversees, and manages enterprise-wide curricula that foster an inclusive culture and make Starbucks the company of choice for all job seekers.

This function works with partners in Inclusion & Diversity, Partner Resources (HR), Public Affairs, and other stakeholders to identify learning requirements. Creates and maintains global learning solutions to boost our partners’ performance and productivity.

As an I&D Manager- Learning & Education, you will…

Execute the strategy and manages the scoping, scheduling, defining deliverables, review cycles, milestone, and resource tracking, and reporting for inclusion and diversity programs, projects, and initiatives. Manages multiple projects and processes to support and enhance the effectiveness of programs

Manage the development process from initiation through completion, including management of scoping, scheduling, defining deliverables, review cycles, milestone, resource tracking, and reporting.

Define and manages the maintenance, revision, or retirement recommendations for inclusive learning curricula

Lead project teams to develop new curricula and revise or maintain existing programs.

Consult with subject matter experts and stakeholders on I&D learning and education implications of potential business decisions and gap analysis between current performance and business goals and requirements.

Evaluate and analyze feedback and critical metrics to measure the effectiveness of I&D learning and education programs and processes in meeting business goals.

Research Innovation in inclusive learning; benchmarks and analyzes key metrics within the training industry in key content areas to inform curriculum development.

Manage budget for programs, ensuring expenditures are within established parameters, emphasizing cost efficiencies

Implement and maintain tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate the impact and ROI of programs. Evaluate and analyze feedback and key metrics to measure the effectiveness of inclusion and diversity programs and processes in meeting business goals

We’d love to hear from people with the following experiences:

Delivering and maintaining learning programs for 2+ years

General business experience in large, matrixed organizations: 6+ years

Project management 3+ years

Business background in retail or customer service industry 2+ years

Facilitating groups and delivering presentations for 2+ years

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications are objective, non-comparative, and relevant requirements for performing a role anywhere in the company.

Examples include a minimum educational requirement or specific degrees, certifications, a minimum number of years of experience in a similar role with similar scope or level of responsibility, experience with core technology tools or platforms such as Microsoft Office, equivalent military experience, etc.
