Wyndham is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Clerk to join their team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and managing employee payroll and related documentation.

Salary: 26.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments, and insurance and pension plans.
- Store, update, and retrieve financial data
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintaining filing systems.
- Prepare and balance period-end reports and reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements.
- Prepare monthly statements
- Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans.
- Maintain payroll
- Maintained employee attendance, leave, and overtime records using manual or computerized systems to calculate pay and benefit entitlements.
- Prepare T4 statements and other statements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role required
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing and relevant software, such as ADP or Paychex
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information
- Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and tax laws
