Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Job Requirements for Construction Labourer Position
- A secondary (high school) graduation certificate
- Previous experience in construction (asset, but not required)
- Good physical fitness for manual labour tasks
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A safety-conscious mindset and willingness to follow site protocols
- Legal authorization to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder)
Responsibilities for Construction Labourer Position
- Transport construction materials
- Assist in building demolition work
- Remove rubble and debris from construction sites
- Operate or tend machines and equipment used in construction
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
- Grease and maintain equipment components such as booms, pulleys, and buckets
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Support the project team as needed
