Our client, through Rail Personnel, is preparing for a significant role in the Abu Dhabi–Dubai High-Speed Rail (HSR) project and is looking for a qualified Construction Manager – MEP to join the leadership team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Abu Dhabi, offering the opportunity to be part of one of the most advanced infrastructure projects in the region.
As Construction Manager – MEP, you’ll take the lead in managing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations across the project, from tunnels and viaducts to stations and depots. Job Requirements for Construction Manager Position
To be considered for this position, candidates should have:
- A degree in construction, engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Chartered Engineer preferred)
- Minimum 15 years of experience managing MEP works on major infrastructure or rail projects
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, and large on-site teams
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and HVAC systems
- Experience with testing, commissioning, and handover procedures for integrated systems
- Familiarity with UAE authority standards and regulations (DEWA, RTA, DCD, DM, Etisalat, DU)
- High-Speed Rail experience preferred (design or delivery)
Key Responsibilities for Construction Manager Position
- Oversee MEP construction works across all project zones, including stations, tunnels, viaducts, depots, and support facilities.
- Manage subcontractor activity and ensure delivery to project quality and safety standards.
- Review and approve method statements, drawings, ITPs, and material submissions.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, systems, and architectural disciplines to prevent installation conflicts.
- Monitor progress, highlight risks, and drive solutions to stay on schedule and within scope.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai and national regulations
- Lead site inspections, technical reviews, and quality control processes
- Support testing, commissioning, and final handover of all MEP installations
