We have available an exciting position for a passionate individual to join our growing technical team. In this highly technical role, you will thrive under new challenges where no two days are the same.
Reporting directly to the Senior Grower, the Growing Technician is responsible for assisting the Grower with implementing the growth strategies to achieve budgeted production levels.
 Primary Responsibilities
- Inspection of crop health and irrigation requirements
- Maintenance and repairs of irrigation lines and equipment
- Undertake PH and EC calibrations to specifications
- Use of computer-based programs to control the greenhouse environment
- Mix fertilizer to procedure and OH&S standards
- Record and report on goods consumption
- Complete regular audits against required targets
 Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience
- High attention to detail and sound judgment
- Intermediate computer skills
- Consultative communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Ability to work a varied roster that includes weekends and on-call.
