Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Solid tractor driving experience with confidence in operating cultivation and feed-out equipment.
  
• A full driver’s licence.
  
• Ability to work independently and communicate well within a team.
  
• Strong sense of responsibility and pride in operating and maintaining machinery.
  
• Experience with farm maintenance and spot spraying is a plus.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities in this role will include:

• Mowing and topping with Kuhn double mowers
  
• Cultivating for regrassing and winter crops (grass and kale) using:
  
  • Kverneland plough
    
  • Kuhn deep ripper
    
  • 6m Farm Chief speed discs
    
  • Land leveller and heavy roller
    
• Feeding out and general farm maintenance
  
• Spot spraying
  
• Operating modern, well-maintained New Holland tractors, some equipped with autosteer
  
• Drilling grass and winter crops
  
• Reporting directly to the farm owner for daily tasks and expectations
