The Role

NFU Mutual’s Canterbury & Sittingbourne Agency is currently recruiting for a Farming Account Handler.

We are recruiting an individual who is confident and can apply their farming expertise to assist the Agency in delivering the award-winning service that NFU Mutual has become renowned for.

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic individual who will undertake the ongoing responsibility and account management of our farming and commercial customers. We believe in finding products and services to meet our client’s needs, inspiring trust, and building long-term relationships by exceeding expectations.

The role will include servicing and renewing our existing book of farming customers and securing new farming business opportunities. You will provide technical advice to ensure our customer’s insurance needs are met, identify gaps in coverage, and gain cross-selling opportunities. We expect you to exceed targets and promote the organization at every turn.

Also, You will be liaising with clients, Agents, and underwriters. Therefore strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner are a must. You will demonstrate competent use of Microsoft software and Customer Relationship Management systems and must display excellent literacy skills. You will also have good farming knowledge and be a highly organized individual with a positive and can-do attitude. Previous experience working within a similar role is also desirable.

Furthermore, you will receive full training in a friendly and supportive environment. Your salary will be based on previous experience, and the position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm, based at our office in Canterbury.
