Job Requirements for This Sales Supervisor Position
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has completed high school (or has equivalent experience)
- Brings at least 7 months of experience in a retail or customer-facing role
- Is eligible to work in Canada (citizen, resident, or valid work permit)
- Can work various shifts — days, evenings, weekends, and overnight if needed
- Communicates clearly and works well under pressure
- Is organized, dependable, and comfortable leading a small team
Responsibilities for This Sales Supervisor Position
You’ll be helping with:
- Scheduling and assigning tasks to staff
- Supporting hiring and training processes
- Managing inventory and ordering stock
- Assisting customers and handling returns or concerns
- Preparing reports on sales, stock, and staffing
- Supervising 3–4 cashiers or sales clerks
Other Responsibilities
- Keeping the store clean, safe, and well-stocked
- Making sure displays and pricing are up to date
- Leading by example and being a point of contact for staff and customers
- Following store procedures and safety policies
