Job Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in construction or roofing preferred (minimum 6 months ideal)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and heavy lifting
- Proficient with bare hands and power tools
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic carpentry or general construction skills are an asset
- Reliable transportation to the work site in Abbotsford, BC
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- English or French not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with commercial flat roof installations, repairs, and maintenance
- Remove old roofing materials and prep surfaces for new installations
- Operate hand and power tools under supervision
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Assist with caulking, flashing, and other roofing details
- Collaborate with team members to ensure quality and timely completion
- Follow all workplace safety protocols
