Reporting to the Head of Operational Excellence, the Program Coordinator provides a broad range of administrative services to support Operational Excellence projects and apply knowledge of the project context, business unit, or function to support effective project delivery.
The role will work under the direction and guidance of the project team. The role is pivotal in facilitating project handovers between the Operational Excellence Strategy Manager to the Operational Excellence Delivery Manager and then from the Operational Excellence team to Operations/BAU.
The position contributes to and deploys, building Operational Excellence capability and mindset across Babcock.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the facilitation of the OE project planning process
- Support planning and coordination of the OE program and its activities
- Ensure implementation of policies and practices
- Handle the project-related financial administration
- Assist the team with communications to internal and external stakeholders
- Assist with creating presentations, summaries, and helping materials to ensure better communication and company-wide understanding of the program
- Provide a range of administrative, secretariat, or support services, including records and document management, reviewing and preparing correspondence, and meeting coordination, to support effective project delivery and outcomes
- Collect and compile information and prepare documentation

Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a similar coordinator role
- Prior work history in a large, complex organization
- Competency in delivering business improvement projects
- Knowledge of program management principles, procedures, budgeting, and reporting
- Advanced MS Office abilities
- Lean Six Sigma/Change Management certification will be highly regarded
