Job Requirements for General Construction Labourer Position

• No formal education required
• Previous construction experience is an asset, but not essential
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and heavy loads
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in noisy, dusty environments
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder)
• Must pass a criminal record check

Key Responsibilities for General Construction Labourer Position

• Load, unload, and move construction materials
• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, forms, and barricades
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials
• Assist in rock drilling and blasting operations
• Remove debris and clean construction sites
• Perform general maintenance duties as assigned
• Operate or assist with construction equipment and machinery
• Direct traffic near work zones to maintain safety
