Awaroa Lodge, located at the breathtaking northern end of Abel Tasman National Park in the South Island of New Zealand, is looking for a Duty Manager to join their team for the upcoming season.

Job Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to demonstrate:

• Previous experience supervising a Food & Beverage team.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Excellent administrative and organizational abilities.
  
• Background in customer service or guest-facing hospitality roles.
  
• Ability to think on your feet and work autonomously.
  
• A current Duty Manager’s License (or LCQ with plans to obtain a DML).
  
• Legal right to work in New Zealand (NZ resident or valid visa holder).

Responsibilities

As the Duty Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily operations, particularly within the Food & Beverage department.
  
• Supporting and guiding team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
  
• Responding to guest needs and inquiries professionally and promptly.
  
• Maintaining a welcoming and organized lodge atmosphere.
  
• Handling administrative duties related to lodge operations.
