Job Requirements

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:

• A vocational diploma in food & beverage or relevant culinary training.
  
• Minimum one year of experience in a commercial kitchen or a relevant section.
  
• Strong knife handling, food preparation, and recipe execution skills.
  
• Understanding of HACCP regulations and food hygiene standards.
  
• Fluency in English and at least one other language.
  
• A valid PIC (Person in Charge) Certificate and fire safety training.
  
• Motivation, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a diverse team.
  

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble dishes according to recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
  
• Assist in the development and implementation of new menus and recipes.
  
• Support the kitchen team by leading a section and coordinating tasks during service.
  
• Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in line with HACCP and Dubai Municipality guidelines.
  
• Participate in daily briefings, quality checks, and team development activities.
  
• Communicate kitchen supply needs, assist with ordering, and manage stock rotation.
  
• Ensure proper functioning of kitchen equipment and report malfunctions.
  
• Evaluate junior staff performance and assist with training and coaching.
  
• Uphold safety and sustainability standards within kitchen operations.
