Job Requirements for Bartender Position
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Proven experience in bartending or cocktail service
- Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, drink preparation, and bar hygiene standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Responsibilities for Bartender Position
- Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, mocktails, wines, and other beverages
- Maintain cleanliness, stock levels, and organization of the bar at all times
- Greet and engage with customers, creating a welcoming environment
- Take accurate drink orders and deliver them promptly and professionally
- Monitor bar inventory and restock supplies as required
- Ensure all drink presentations meet brand and service standards
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations while handling food and beverages
- Resolve guest inquiries or complaints courteously and efficiently
Other Responsibilities
- Support team members during peak service periods
- Assist with closing duties, including cleaning, stock-taking, and cashing out
- Recommend drinks and upsell premium products
- Stay up-to-date with seasonal menus and new mixology trends
- Represent the Adecco brand with professionalism at all times
