Job Requirements for Bar Attendant Position
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience as a bartender or bar attendant is preferred
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage trends
- Licence Controller Qualification (LCQ) is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety and alcohol service regulations
- Attention to detail and high personal presentation standards
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
Responsibilities for the Bar Attendant Position
Your duties will include:
- Preparing a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Greeting guests and providing tailored recommendations
- Maintaining a clean, well-stocked, and organized bar area
- Processing payments and handling customer transactions accurately
- Monitoring guest alcohol consumption and ensuring responsible service
- Supporting team morale and attending service meetings
- Following health, hygiene, and safety protocols
- Maintaining bar equipment, supplies, and cleanliness
