Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to help students achieve personal, academic, and social development goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive school counseling programs.
- Assist students in setting academic and career goals while offering guidance on college or vocational planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address behavioral and emotional challenges.
- Conduct assessments and refer students to external resources when necessary.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- State certification or licensure as a School Counselor.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Empathy and the ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in educational settings preferred.
