Job Requirements for Farm Assistant Position

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• No previous experience required, full training will be provided
• Must be physically fit and capable of handling fast-paced, hands-on work
• Must not keep poultry or birds of any kind at home (due to biosecurity policies)
• Must be reliable, with strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work both independently and in a team

Responsibilities for Farm Assistant Position

• Handle live poultry and collect eggs daily
• Complete feed and shed runs across the farm
• Clean and prepare sheds for new poultry arrivals
• Assist with general farm duties and maintenance tasks
• Adhere to all farm health, hygiene, and safety regulations

Other Responsibilities

• Support farm efficiency and daily routines
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate any concerns regarding animal welfare or farm operations
• Follow standard operating procedures for handling animals and equipment
• Uphold the company’s commitment to food quality and farm safety
