Location: Punakaiki on the West Coast of the South Island

Responsibilities

The Cook role will involve:

  • Assisting with the preparation, cooking, and serving of food for service.
  • Ensuring that all food is served and stored at the correct temperature to meet standards and kitchen guidelines.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
  • Follow all sanitation and hygenic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.

Skills, Experience & Required Qualifications

Successful candidates should have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar position and
  • an NZQF Level 4 Certificate , or above, in Cooking (preferred) and
  • a current Food Handler’s Certificate and
  • excellent verbal communication skills.
