Responsibilities
The Cook role will involve:
- Assisting with the preparation, cooking, and serving of food for service.
- Ensuring that all food is served and stored at the correct temperature to meet standards and kitchen guidelines.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
- Follow all sanitation and hygenic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.
Skills, Experience & Required Qualifications
Successful candidates should have:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar position and
- an NZQF Level 4 Certificate , or above, in Cooking (preferred) and
- a current Food Handler’s Certificate and
- excellent verbal communication skills.
