Job Requirements for Construction Labourer Position
To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

- Secondary school diploma or equivalent experience
- Experience in construction (asset, but not essential)
- Ability to handle physically demanding work, including lifting to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including early mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Strong teamwork skills and reliability
- Willingness to work in challenging environments, including outdoors, at heights, underground, in confined spaces, and in noisy or dusty conditions
Responsibilities for Construction Labourer Position
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, shoring, and barricades
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Assist with pipeline alignment, drilling, and blasting
- Support framing, wall erection, and roof building tasks
- Level earth to fine-grade specifications
- Pave and rake asphalt
- Assist in demolition work and site cleanup, including removal of rubble and hazardous spills.
- Operate or tend to construction machines and equipment
- Direct traffic at or near construction sites
