The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our resort and attract new guests. Salary: 35.00 to 38.00 hourly (to be negotiated)40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the resort and increase bookings.
- Create marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital content, to support promotional efforts.
- Manage the resort’s social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments, and analyzing engagement metrics.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and promotional offers.
- Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
- Track and analyze marketing campaign results to measure effectiveness and ROI
- Assist with event planning and execution, including trade shows, open houses, and special events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry, is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
- Experience with marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Mailchimp, or Hubspot
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed
