Job Requirements for Construction Supervision Position
For Engineers:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in construction supervision
- Experience in villa, residential, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use developments
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards and building regulations
- Proficiency in technical review, drawing interpretation, and site coordination
For Inspectors:
- Diploma in a relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the supervision of site works
- Ability to conduct inspections, monitor contractor performance, and report non-conformities
- Familiarity with technical specs and quality control practices
Preferred Experience for All Roles:
- UAE project delivery experience (especially in Abu Dhabi)
- Understanding of local authority processes and approval standards
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in construction management tools
Responsibilities for Construction Supervision Position
Depending on the role and discipline, your tasks may include:
- Monitoring contractor progress on site
- Reviewing technical submittals and drawings
- Conducting field inspections and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
- Supporting coordination between disciplines and project stakeholders
- Assisting in project handover and close-out documentation
Other Responsibilities
- Support issue resolution and conflict avoidance across the site
- Maintain accurate site records and inspection logs
- Ensure adherence to local authority requirements (ADM, ADDC, DEWA, etc.)
- Engage collaboratively with multi-disciplinary site teams
