Overview:
BC Tree Fruits Cooperative is currently looking for a fruit preparer in Kelowna, BC. This is a full-time, permanent position with an hourly wage of $17.00. If you have experience in fruit and vegetable processing and food handling skills and can work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
As a fruit preparer, your tasks will include:
- Applying food safety and handling skills.
- Manually packing goods into bags, boxes, or other containers
- Feeding and unloading processing machines
- Checking products and packaging for basic quality defects.
- Assisting process control and machine operators in performing their duties
- Cleaning machines and immediate work areas.
