Opportunities:
Jaeman support is currently seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our team.
Reporting to the Financial Manager, tasks and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include, but not be limited to;
- AP responsibility, including invoice entry, account coding, and handling inquiries.
- Weekly payroll processing plus monthly requirements (super etc.)
- Maintaining financial records
- Verifying/allocating transactions.
- Reconciling accounts.
The following qualifications/skills will be highly regarded;
- A degree in accounting or finance
- Practical accounting experience
- 1 to 2 years+ experience in a similar role
- Previous bookkeeping experience is a must
- Previous payroll experience must
- Competent in the use of MYOB
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven data entry skills
- Developing accounting systems and processes
- A precise understanding of Australian tax rules and business commitments
