Job Requirements for Farm Supervisor Position

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Experience is an asset, but not mandatory
• Proficient in English; other languages not required
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit holder)
• Ability to work on-site at the physical job location (no remote work available)

Responsibilities for the Farm Supervisor Position

• Coordinate and supervise general farm workers and harvesting staff
• Oversee and support crop growing operations
• Ensure safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times
• Maintain quality control and accurate production records
• Manage and update work logs and documentation
• Operate, inspect, and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Carry out general farm duties, including cleaning and organizing work areas

Other Responsibilities

• Monitor employee performance and offer on-the-job training
• Ensure that workplace health and environmental safety standards are upheld
• Support team collaboration and encourage a positive, productive work culture
• Report production outcomes and issues to management
