Warehouse workers operate within warehouses where they receive, unpack, arrange, and store goods. They also gather, pack, prepare, and load goods for dispatch. Additionally, they inspect stock for damage and wear, report any faults and discrepancies, and label and mark stock accordingly.
Warehouse Worker Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles.
- Receiving inventory deliveries.
- Counting and verifying inventory.
- Inspecting inventory for damage and faults.
Warehouse Worker Requirements:
- Experience as a general laborer, ideally in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in operating a forklift.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good moral character.
- Physical strength, agility, dexterity, and the ability to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions.
