Farmlands cooperative are looking for a Storeperson to join their team in Blenheim! The setting is fast-paced, with plenty of opportunities to learn and advance your career.
The back store operation is essential to our performance, so we must find the appropriate applicant with a strong work ethic and who thrives in a fun, fast-paced, and demanding atmosphere. This career provides a lot of variety and opportunities for the appropriate person.
Furthermore, as it stands, you’d be working Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week, but we’re a seven-day-a-week store, so you’d need to be flexible, which means coming in on the odd weekend.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a storeroom
- Forklift experience. An Endorsement would be advantageous but is not essential.
- You’re physically fit and comfortable with lifting and manual handling tasks.
- Great time management
- Also, you have a positive attitude and are keen to learn
- A background in the farming sector
- Broad knowledge of agricultural products and services
- Sound computer skills will be to your advantage
