Job Description

Joyous Healthcare Inc. seeks the assistance of a registered practical nurse to join their team in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing patients for surgery
  • Administering medication and observing effects
  • Take vital signs and apply sterile techniques
  • Provide pre-and post-operative care
  • Educate patients and families on safety and health
  • Provide nursing services based on assessment
  • Monitor patient progress and consult with the healthcare team.

Requirements

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses

  • Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate

Education

  • College/CEGEP
  • or equivalent experience

Security and safety

  • Driver’s validity license check
  • Eligible for professional liability insurance
  • Vulnerable sector check
