Job Description
Joyous Healthcare Inc. seeks the assistance of a registered practical nurse to join their team in Canada.
Responsibilities
- Preparing patients for surgery
- Administering medication and observing effects
- Take vital signs and apply sterile techniques
- Provide pre-and post-operative care
- Educate patients and families on safety and health
- Provide nursing services based on assessment
- Monitor patient progress and consult with the healthcare team.
Requirements
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses
- Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
Education
- College/CEGEP
- or equivalent experience
Security and safety
- Driver’s validity license check
- Eligible for professional liability insurance
- Vulnerable sector check
