Join our team at Woodfells Construction Ltd. as a Framing Carpenter and be a part of crafting quality structures in Calgary, AB. We are a dynamic construction company seeking individuals with a passion for woodwork and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:
As a Framing Carpenter, your responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Preparing layouts in conformance with building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roof systems.
• Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

• Work Site Environment: At heights, confined spaces, noisy, dusty.
• Work Setting: Construction, various locations; renovation, maintenance, and repair, commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Bending, crouching, kneeling.
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Handling heavy loads.
• Large workload.
• Overtime required.
• Physically demanding.
