Salary: 15.50 to 19.00 hourly (to be negotiated)40 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist with the development of new menu items and specials
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency are up to our high standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order necessary products to maintain stock levels
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and report any incidents to the appropriate channels
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage and rotation of food products
- Assist with training and supervising kitchen staff as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in culinary arts preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a cook in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and servers
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
