Job Requirements for Civil Labourer Position

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Physically fit and able to handle manual labour for long hours
• Reliable and flexible with working hours
• Not afraid of hard work, this is hands-on, labour-intensive work
• A full Class 1 driver’s licence is an advantage
• Able to provide two work-related references
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must present two valid forms of ID (e.g., driver’s licence, passport, or birth certificate)

Responsibilities for Civil Labourer Position

• Perform a variety of road maintenance tasks, including pothole repairs
• Safely use tools, vehicles, and light machinery on site
• Support team members with daily roading operations
• Keep work areas clean and free of hazards
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
• Carry out other general labour duties as assigned by supervisors

Other Responsibilities

• Report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions immediately
• Work collaboratively within a team setting
• Take part in pre-start meetings and daily briefings
• Assist with the setup and pack-down of work sites
• Maintain a professional attitude while representing OneStaff on-site
