Job Requirements for a Builder’s Labourer Position
- Experience in construction or general labouring is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks and outdoor work
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Basic PPE required (hi-vis, steel-toed boots, hard hat)
- Must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
Responsibilities for the Builder’s Labourer Position
- Assist builders and tradespeople with daily site tasks
- Move, carry, and organize construction materials
- Help with demolition, digging, and preparation work
- Operate and set up tools and equipment (training provided)
- Clean and maintain work areas to ensure site safety
- Follow site health and safety protocols at all times
Other Responsibilities
- Support team during project milestones or tight deadlines
- Communicate with site managers and team leaders
- Learn and follow site plans or instructions
- Provide general support across multiple construction tasks
- Represent Tradestaff with professionalism on all job sites
