Job Requirements for Breakfast Server Position

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Legally eligible to work in New Zealand
• A morning person with availability for early shifts
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous hospitality or customer service experience is a plus
• Able to work effectively within a team
• Confident multitasker who can stay calm and organized under pressure
• Physically fit for standing, walking, and carrying trays during service

Responsibilities for Breakfast Server Position

• Greet and serve guests during breakfast service
• Prepare and serve hot beverages, including coffee and tea
• Set up and maintain buffet and à la carte breakfast stations
• Ensure food and beverage areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Attend to guests’ needs with professionalism and a smile
• Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth morning operations
• Assist in daytime events such as meetings and conferences when required

Other Responsibilities

• Help set up and break down function rooms for banquets and meetings
• Provide food and beverage service to conference guests
• Follow hotel and food safety procedures at all times
• Communicate guest feedback and service needs to supervisors
• Uphold Ascot Park Hotel’s standards of excellence and customer care
• Contribute to a positive and respectful team environment
