Job Requirements for Territory Manager Position

  • Proven experience in sales; background in heavy equipment is an asset

  • Comfortable with regular travel and in-field customer visits
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally required
  • Ability to understand and present technical product features and financing options
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools

Responsibilities for the Territory Manager Position

  • Sell construction and forestry equipment within an assigned territory
  • Build and maintain regular customer call cycles
  • Deliver in-field demonstrations and equipment walkarounds
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including features, benefits, and financing solutions
  • Track competitive activity and report findings to management
  • Maintain detailed records in CRM systems for pipeline and territory tracking
  • Assist in preparing and executing customer events and equipment expos
  • Support customers with trade-in evaluations and equipment value assessments
  • Ensure the company vehicle and assigned equipment is well-maintained
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets as outlined by Brandt

Other Responsibilities

  • Attend ongoing sales training sessions and professional development events
  • Monitor industry trends and customer activities within your region
  • Collaborate with internal departments (parts, service, finance) to support customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to a positive and team-oriented workplace culture
  • Provide regular territory and sales reporting as required
  • Support new product launches and campaigns through proactive outreach
