Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a consultant.
- Participate in the diagnosis and management of patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Write medical reports.
- Attend ward rounds and clinics.
- Participate in teaching and training activities.
- Maintain professional competence and participate in continuing medical education.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide the best possible care for patients.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
- Completion of a foundation training program.
- Excellent clinical skills and judgment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure.
