Salary: 27.80 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain company-owned trucks and equipment safely and efficiently
- Transport goods across long distances as directed
- Ensure cargo is loaded and secured properly for transportation
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and other data
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and regulations
- Report any accidents or incidents to the appropriate parties immediately
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
