Job Description

The support worker role is centered on aiding individuals in enhancing their independence and acquiring essential life skills.

Responsibilities

This encompasses various tasks,

  • Assisting with transportation
  • Employment decisions
  • Managing finances and meal preparation.
  • Support workers may offer support with tasks like shopping, cleaning, showering, and medication administration.

Requirements

You must be:

  • Available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and sleepover shifts.
  • Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Adequate physical fitness to provide physical support to others
PLEASE NOTE: it is essential that you have a full, NZ drivers licence or a full international licence. Those on a restricted or learner license cannot, unfortunately, be considered.
