Job Description

IDA Royal Care Pharmacy seeks a pharmacy technician to join their team in Canada. You must be focused, reliable, and attentive to details.

Responsibilities

  • Assist dietitians or nutritionists in planning and supervising food service operations.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of other medical technologists or technicians.
  • Help with scheduling and workflow
  • Bill third-party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate, enter client information in databases, and prepare medications for clients.
  • Help patients complete menus.
  • Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products.
  • Assist dietitians with research in food, nutrition, and food service systems
  • Clean and restore ocular prostheses
  • Interpret physician’s specification
  • Advise patients on loss of depth perception
  • Make and modify plaster casts
  • Repair and maintain fabrication and laboratory equipment
