Requirements:
- Trade qualification in a relevant mechanical engineering field
- Hands-on maintenance experience (breakdown and preventative)
- Strong people skills with leadership and coaching abilities
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Experience with condition monitoring, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Certified TIG/MMAW welding competence
- Comfortable using computer software for admin tasks
- Valid work visa, NZ citizenship, or permanent residency
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and lead a team of tradespeople providing maintenance and reliability services
- Utilize maintenance engineering skills to handle diverse challenges
- Develop client relationships and seek new business opportunities
- Perform diagnostics, fault-finding, and resolve customer problems
- Handle administrative tasks like estimating, quoting, and creating job packs
