Job Description
Sandhu Express Inc. seeks the services of a long haul truck driver to join their team.
Requirements
Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses
- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Languages
English
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Responsibilities
- Ability to load and unload goods.
- Drive trucks to transport goods.
- Check the vehicle’s condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and equipment.
- Ability to do emergency repairs if needed.
- Checking the vehicle before, during, and after trips.
- Do regular maintenance on the vehicle.
- Communicate with dispatch.
- You must keep records of cargo, hours worked, distance traveled, and the fuel used.
- Secure cargo with tarps and make sure it’s safe.
- Transport and handle hazardous materials.
