Responsibilities
Here are some of the key responsibilities required of you as a forklift Mechanic
- Ability to check and test engines to find and fix problems.
- You will adjust, repair, or change parts of mechanical or electrical systems.
- Carry out regular maintenance and service tasks.
- Inform customers about the work done and the condition of their equipment.
- Fix and rebuild hoisting mechanisms and other mechanical systems on industrial trucks and forklifts.
- Review work orders and talk with a supervisor about tasks.
- Test and fine-tune repaired equipment to make sure it works correctly.
