Job Description
Fixed term herd is looking for the right person to join our team from July to November. Your role will involve all aspects of System 2 Dairy Farming. They currently milk 1400 cows through an 80 Bail Rotary cowshed. You, your employer, and five other staff will run the farm day-to-day, with extra help during busy periods.
Requirements
- Physically fit
- Minimum of 1 year of dairy farming experience
- Trustworthy, punctual, and hardworking
- Drug-free, adhering to our drug testing policy
Responsibilities
- Participating in the milking of 1400 cows through an 80 Bail Rotary cowshed
- Engaging in the day-to-day operations of the farm alongside the employer and other staff
- Operating and maintaining fully automatic, fully irrigated systems with pivots and fixed grids
- Contributing to the overall success and smooth operation of the farm
