Job Description
Brandt, a world-leading equipment dealer, is seeking a Field Service Technician to join the Construction and Forestry team at their Manawatu Branch. This role involves performing service and repairs on John Deere and other branded forestry and construction equipment, ensuring high standards and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
– Service & Repairs: Perform service and repairs on a variety of John Deere and other branded equipment to a high standard.
– Inspections: Conduct inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs.
– Fault Diagnosis: Diagnose faults and rectify issues according to approved procedures.
– Training: Undertake ongoing training to stay updated with the latest techniques and equipment.
– Preparation: Prepare new equipment for delivery to customers.
Requirements:
– Qualifications: Mechanical Trade qualification or an apprenticeship in a mechanical trade.
– Diagnostic Skills: Ability to diagnose faults and failures using modern diagnostic techniques.
– Repair Skills: Ability to perform repairs and reconditioning of vehicle and machinery systems.
– Organizational Skills: Well-organized with the ability to complete paperwork competently.
– Teamwork: Ability to work both in a team and independently.
– Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills.
