Job Description
The service of a Farm Assistant/Tractor Operator to join our team and assist with various farm operations. Accommodation can be supplied as a furnished 3-bedroom home for the right candidate(s). They are located 10-15 minutes east of Tokoroa.
Requirements
- Experience working with animals
- Confidence in driving tractors and other large machinery
- Honesty and reliability
- Willingness to learn and undertake training
- High standard of tidiness and common sense
- Fun sense of humor
- Respectful and able to get along well in a team
Responsibilities
- Assisting with the milking of 650 cows in a 50-bale rotary cowshed
- Operating and maintaining tractors and other large farm machinery
- Performing various farm tasks as needed
- Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth farm operations
- Maintaining a high standard of tidiness and organization on the farm
