Job Description
A farm assistant service is needed in New Zealand. This role requires you to be focused, reliable, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Milking cows twice a day (morning shift starts at 5:30 am, afternoon shift starts at 3:00 pm, each taking approximately 2.5 hours)
- Identifying and managing animal health issues
- Shifting cows and feeding out as required
- Calving and calf rearing
- Performing basic farm maintenance tasks, including fencing and repairing water lines
- Handling other general farm duties as needed
Requirements
- Reliability and a strong work ethic
- Basic knowledge of farm operations and animal care
- Willingness to work in a team and take direction
- Physically fit and able to handle the demands of farm work
