Job Description

An engineering contracting company that specializes in plant maintenance and project work is looking for an Engineering Coordinator.

Responsibilities

As the Engineering Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for:-

  • Preparing and managing weekly job schedules to ensure the engineering team is aligned and focused.
  • Communicating with customers to provide project updates and address any requirements or concerns.
  • Tracking project hours to monitor progress and ensure that jobs remain within quoted budgets.
  • Providing weekly reports to the business owner, including project status and key metrics.
  • Supporting the engineering team with workflow coordination, resource allocation, and task management.
  • Assisting with operational tasks, including procuring consumables and tracking job-related communications.

 Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to build/maintain strong customer relationships and manage team interactions.
  • An outgoing and positive person who looks for solutions and ways of doing things better.
  • Experience in project tracking, reporting, and workflow coordination. Exposure to Tradify would be advantageous.
