Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you will produce high-quality dishes that meet our brand standards across various dining services, including the restaurant, bar, conferencing, and room service. Your key responsibilities will include:

– Organizing your shift, ensuring prep completion, and supporting the team to maintain a clean and well-prepared kitchen environment.
– Assisting the Head Chef and mentoring junior kitchen staff to foster a collaborative and respectful team atmosphere.
– Contributing to menu planning, cost estimation, and food supply ordering.
– Monitoring dish quality throughout the preparation and presentation stages.
– Discussing food preparation issues with managers and the Food and Beverage team.
– Demonstrating cooking techniques and procedures and handling food preparation, freezing, and preserving.
– Upholding hygiene regulations and assisting with team member selection and training.
